Research Proof; Moringa Beneficial To Heart and High Blood Pressure

Readers want to know if Moringa can improve blood pressure.  When researching the subject, you will find at least  4 research studies with rats that do show it lowers blood pressure. It is also used in Ayurvedic medicine to do so.  There are not double blind studies with humans on Moringa and blood pressure. However, it has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for  many years for that purpose and other medical problems. Science has not put the money into double blind human research studies to verify what India doctors use and know works. Doctors in India don't need the studies for they know and see the results in their patients health. They know herbs and Moringa work, so to them, it is not important. Herbs and Moringa are part of their medicine, their healing protocols. .

Why would Moringa work to improve high blood pressure?

Often in high blood pressure and heart problems, there are deficiencies of calcium, magnesium, and other trace minerals. There are also problems with the body's utilization of calcium and magnesium through supplements especially tablets. You need a lot of hydrochloric acid to break down tablets in the stomach. As you get older, it becomes harder to utilize supplements.  The Calcium, Magnesium, and other minerals in Moringa leaves are easy to digest and easily utilized by the body.

Moringa also contains two  'hypotensive carbamate glycosides' which have the effect of lowering blood pressure. Research also shows it is beneficial to improve cholesterol readings.

Moringa's ability to improve blood pressure would be dependent on why your blood pressure is abnormal, whether you have mineral imbalances, and how sensitive you are to the Moringa.  You must also take enough to be effective and take it for a long enough time period to give it time to work. No magic wands just time.

There is no clear information on how much or how long it takes to achieve results. Most herbal programs take weeks or months.  You would need to have a doctor's supervision to make sure it was working and to make sure you do not get problems if using prescription medications too. Combining herbs, some foods, and Moringa can make a difference in how your medicine works and how it effects your blood pressure. It is extremely important to be monitored while working to lower your blood pressure.

You still need to change the lifestyle factors such as obesity, bad diet, stress, and lack of exercise to be healthy.  I don't believe that Moringa or herbs should be used without changing the negative lifestyle factors that were responsible for undermining your health.   Herbs were meant to be used as a tool to improve health, to prevent disease but not the only tool.  All of our thoughts, attitudes, habits, and diet are a circle that either creates health or disease.  Only you can change the course for your health. You have to make the decision on a daily basis to either improve your health or destroy your health. Which will it be for you?

My recent blogs show why you should not need to resort to drugs with fatal side effects. Drugs prescribed for one health problem, that create several more health problems that are even more serious.  Between lifestyle changes and herbal support, the majority of people should be able to lower their blood pressure naturally.  Even with genetically high blood pressure, the natural approach is worth trying first. Drugs are always there if natural programs do not work.

I do not sell Moringa products as of Sept, 2016. I am working on a project that demands an unbiased viewpoint.
