#1: Do not store in refrigerator or freezer. These are heat loving trees and this will destroy the seeds ability to sprout.
Seeds, no matter what kind, are very particular in their sprouting needs. Some require heat but others require a time in the cold . So find out what environment the seeds need before you buy or sprout them. Some seeds can take several months to sprout. Others like Moringa seeds sprout in 5 to 10 days. Get informed before you spend the money.
#2: Store Moringa seeds in a warm, dry area in an air tight container. The ideal temperature is between 60 and 80 degrees F. Depending on the quality of the seeds, they should last for two or three years...perhaps more.
#3: Moringa Oleifera seeds should be hard and dark colored. If they are a cream color, they are old. If they are soft, they are old.
If you planted trees last year, and they look dead, they probably are just dormant, unless they froze or rotted with too much water. Take your fingers and press on the tap root. If it is hard, it probably will come back up. If it is mushy, it rotted or froze.
